Bricklayers & Masonry
Smart trade polos and durable trousers for blockwork, pointing and masonry teams.

Printingmad · Washington, Tyne and Wear
Practical clothing for bricklayers, groundworkers, site operatives and construction teams. Explore real supplier garments, with company printing where the garment supports it.
Building sites involve different conditions from one job to the next. A bricklayer handling materials, a groundworker moving across a large site and a supervisor meeting subcontractors will rarely want exactly the same clothing.
Printingmad, operated by TEE MAD LIMITED in Washington, supplies plain garments and printing on supported workwear for construction businesses across Washington, Sunderland, Newcastle and the North East. Our catalogue includes trade T-shirts, polos, hoodies, work trousers, softshells and selected high-visibility garments.
For an organised team, decide on a few practical products that suit each role. Keep your company colour and approved logo consistent where garments permit decoration, and give workers size options that suit their movement and layering needs. Specialist PPE must be selected for the site hazards separately.

Work can move between warm interiors and exposed outdoor areas. A polo, sweatshirt or hoodie with a suitable outer layer gives useful flexibility. Look at fabric, cuffs and fit, and confirm weather-protection claims separately.
Hi-vis clothing may be required in plant areas or vehicle routes. Check the exact certified colour and class. A logo must not cover reflective tape or compromise protective performance, even if the garment’s name includes “easy print”.
General branded workwear is not a substitute for PPE selected through a construction site risk assessment. Helmets, safety footwear, eye and hearing protection, gloves, respiratory protection and high-visibility clothing may be needed depending on the task. Manufacturer certifications and the employer’s requirements must be checked for the exact item and colour. Knee-pad pockets do not automatically mean protective knee pads are included.
Follow the relevant site instructions and current HSE construction PPE guidance. For further garment-specific selection, see our Hi-Vis & Safety Workwear page. Any printing or embroidery must preserve required protective properties.
Record the product code, size, colour and quantity for each worker. Choose plain garments or supported printing options.
Company logos must be ready to print. We do not edit supplied artwork. Embroidery is available by enquiry, not as an assumed checkout selection.
Front printing is £5 including VAT per garment; front and back is £7.50 including VAT per garment where the product supports both positions. Garment prices are separate.
Printed garments take 7–10 working days. Mixed plain and printed orders are dispatched together only after printing is complete.
Delivery is £9.40 excluding VAT per combined box. Free Washington collection is available for eligible printed and mixed orders after ready-to-collect confirmation. Plain-only orders use supplier delivery and cannot be collected.
Select clothing for the job, site rules, weather and employer’s risk assessment. Practical workwear might include a polo, durable trousers and layers, but required safety footwear, helmets, hi-vis and other PPE must be specified separately.
No certification should be assumed from the category photographs. Some listed products make manufacturer claims for particular hi-vis colours, but check current item-specific documentation and the class required for your site.

The RX603 and SH028 listings describe knee-pad pockets, but this does not mean knee pads or certified knee protection are included. Check manufacturer compatibility and what protection your job requires.

Site teams often grow and change as projects develop. Keep a simple uniform register showing each person’s product code, size and colour, plus the final artwork file used. This helps you reorder compatible garments for new starters without assuming old sizes or stock are still available.
