Artwork guide
Good artwork makes a better print. Use this checklist before ordering your custom printed clothing.
Upload PNG, JPG or PDF
The garment artwork uploader accepts PNG, JPG/JPEG and PDF files, up to 10 MB per file. Upload your artwork with the printing options on the product page where available.
Supply artwork ready to print
We print the artwork you supply. We do not edit customer artwork. Check spelling, names, dates, colours and the design layout before uploading.
Keep backgrounds intentional
For a design without a printed rectangular background, supply a PNG with a transparent background. JPG files do not support transparency. Any background included in your artwork may form part of the print.
Use a clear, high-quality original
Use your original design file or a high-quality export. Aim for 300 dpi at the intended print size. Enlarging a small screenshot does not restore lost detail. Check fine text and edges at the size you want printed.
Tell us the print position and size
Choose the available print position on the garment page. Use the artwork instructions field to describe the intended print width and placement. If ordering front and back printing, clearly identify which design goes on each side. Contact Printingmad before ordering if you need to supply multiple files or are unsure how to attach them.
Before you place the order
Check the garment code, colour, sizes, quantities and print position. Make sure you have permission to use any logos or artwork you supply. Printed garments have a 7–10 working-day turnaround; this is not a next-day delivery promise.
